Returns & cancellations

All sales are final. Unown Collectables (Barrie, Ontario, Canada) does not offer returns, exchanges, refunds, or replacements on confirmed purchases — singles, sealed product, or graded cards.

No returns or replacements

Once we confirm your request and you pay (or complete an in-person pickup purchase), the sale is final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or replacements for any reason — including change of mind, condition preferences after the fact, market price changes, or items that arrive damaged or lost in transit.

No cancellations after confirmation

You may withdraw a request before we confirm stock and quote you. After we confirm and you accept (or pay), the order cannot be cancelled. If an item was already sold or mislisted, we may cancel on our side and will not charge you for that item.

Payment

For now we take Interac e-Transfer to monkeydoink@unowncollectables.ca (put your request # in the memo / message) or cash on Barrie pickup. Wait for our confirm email before sending payment. There is no public card checkout on this site yet. Because sales are final, we do not issue refunds after payment clears.

When the sale is done

Pickup: once you pay and we hand you the item. Shipping: once we hand the package to the carrier. After that point there are no returns or replacements.

Condition grades

NM, LP, MP, HP, and similar grades are our assessment. Photos and listing notes are the source of truth. Condition is partly subjective — we do not accept returns or price adjustments over grade disagreements after confirmation or pickup.

Sealed product

Sealed packs, boxes, and tins are sold as sealed. No refunds or replacements for pulls, “bad hits,” factory packing variance, or what is inside after opening.

Holds & pickup window

After we confirm a request, we’ll hold items for a reasonable window (about 7 days unless we agree otherwise by email). If we don’t hear back or payment/pickup isn’t arranged in time, we may release the hold and relist.

Shipping — buyer’s risk and expense

All shipping is at the buyer’s risk and expense. You pay shipping. We ship within Canada only. Packages go out with tracking when available; we do not add carrier insurance unless we explicitly quote that as a paid option in email. Once the package leaves us, we are not responsible for loss, delay, damage, or theft in transit. We do not replace or refund shipped items. Choose Barrie pickup if you want to inspect before you pay.

Before you request

Check photos, set, condition notes, and price carefully. Ask questions by email if anything is unclear. Pickup buyers: inspect the item at the counter before you pay — listed CAD prices for pickup are final in person.
